Yesterday, the Mayor of London rode on the opening train for the Met 150 celebrations and afterwards gave a speech at the Grand suite in St Pancras international. It was wonderful typical Boris stuff - even speculation about riding on Crossrail 7 from the London Borough of Birmingham to the Thames Estuary Airport in 150 years time!
It is now posted at www.facebook.com/heritagerailway

At the moment I'm compiling material from yesterday's trips and will be posti
ng a special feature at The complete steam news magazine Heritage Railway Magazine later in the week, as a "Part 2" to the feature contained in issue 172, which is on sale this Thursday.
