    "Join us for Miniature Traction Engine Weekend, transporting you back to a bygone age when steam ruled the roads, the fields and the rails"

    Attractions -

    • Over 50 miniature traction engines in steam in 1.5" - 6" scales
    • Engine makers include Marshall, Burrell, Fowler, Tasker, Savage and many more
    • 5" gauge ride on miniature railway (small extra charge payable)
    • Three full size centrepiece engines: Two steam rollers and a beautiful elderly Allchin General Purpose
    • Visiting Pell Pipe Organ "Penelope" playing traditional music throughout the weekend
    • Miniature working area showcasing 3" & 4" scale wood sawing and 4" scale flour milling as well as a couple of stationary engines
    • Engine line up and BIG Whistle 2pm Each Day
    • Steam trains on the Battlefield Line featuring BR Black 3803

    Join us in the Goods Shed will be -

    • 16mm Live Steam Model Railway "Tyddyn Bach"
    • Three Toy Steam Stands
    • Two Fairground Model Stands
    • Trade Stand from Castle Instruments (Model Steam Boilers)
    • Battlefield Line Catering Stand

    As well as awning displays from -

    • R.Wood with Scale Model Trucks
    • B.Seaton with Meccano Locomotives and Models

    The rally will be open from 10am until 5pm each day (Last admission 4pm). The steam trains serving the event will be running to the Green Timetable. Admission for gate only is £4 Adult, £2 Child and these tickets are refundable against the price of a steam train travel ticket. The railways normal fares apply this weekend so why not travel from Shenton or Shackerstone and see the event for free?

    Please note that parking at Market Bosworth Station will be extremely limited during this busy steam weekend
