    I`ve emailed the society but no one has got back to me yet and I intended visiting the line this saturday, I wonder if anyone knows of a bus service from Nuneaton to access the Shackerstone site, the website isnt very clear? many thanks in advance.

    Here is a sample journey from Nuneaton railway station to Shackerstone.

    Walk to Bus Station (Stand C1), Harefield Road, Nuneaton
    5 minutes, Depart 10:54, Arrive 10:59
    Take 7 bus to Main Street Adj Shadows Lane, Congerstone
    56 minutes, Depart 11:00, Arrive 11:56 Roberts Coaches
    Walk to Shackerstone Rail Station (Battlefield Line), Shackerstone
    27 minutes, Depart 11:56, Arrive 12:23

    I've only been there once, but I got the 153 bus from Leicester St Margarets Bus Station to Market Bosworth. A mate coming from the other direction got a bus from Hinckley to Market Bosworth - I don't think there's anything from Nuneaton to Shackerstone.
