    The BLR is holding a Penrhyn-themed Gala over the weekend of June 16-18.

    There should be 8 locos in steam Saturday and Sunday whilst Monday will be a Penrhyn day, including trains of the open-top quarryman's coaches. Guest locos are Marchllyn, Hugh Napier and Gwynedd.

    Some of the guest will be operating services for the rest of the week while the home fleet is at the Hunslet 125 Gala at the Ffestiniog June 23-24. In return, Palmerston will be operating trains at Bala that weekend.
