Avro heritage museum adds another item

    It's a Canberra cockpit section from WK118.

    It is a Woodford born Canberra which was one of 75 built in the late fifties. Coincidentally, Vulcan To The Skies Trust next project is also another Woodford born Canberra too!

    Terry Barnes, Kevin Whittaker and Richard Jones who are three of our trustees ventured down to a Farm near Worcester today to put a bid on this cockpit section and successfully won. The farm is owned by Mr and Mrs Hancock and this piece of hardware is just one of many bits of war memorabilia he has and is selling the lot.

    We've now got to get it up to the museum and ready for you lot to see in the not to distant future!!
