Folks, a new 7 1/4" gauge railway has been conructed at teh East Somerset Railway. It will run from teh Signal box at Cranmore to the station at Cranmore West. Currently it only run's as far as the end of the carriage siding (about half way) It run's parralel to the standard gauge line and is a great litle run. The Viewing area and picnic area aroud the signal box has now been re-opened. Please come along and support th railway.

More info can be found on teh railways website:

I just visited the railway last Sunday and must say that the miniature looks like it will have a nice run along there. It'll be good to go from Cranmore to Cranmore West by standard gauge and then return by 7 1/4 inch gauge! Good luck on that. =D> . Just wondered do you know what locomotives you will have working on the line?
