Any news yet this morning? Loco fit and healthy? It's a bit cold and grey in Oxford this morning. I'm off to the Goring area soon - hope it's not too misty down there.

Heading to taplow now to see her. Also I've subscribed to rail tour so I'm attempting to update both sources.

Through taplow 10:43 on the down main.

Also, well done to the idiot on platform 1 who thought it was still a good idea to scale the locked gate and fence and video her. It's locked for a reason.

Looked superb through Twyford. Few minutes late and hotly pursued by two HSTs. Assume she will move over to relief line after Reading ???? Weather so gloomy, but trying to load short video to Youtube now.

Indeed there is always one. If his footage is uploaded it'll be easily spotted as being from that platform! Anyway good to see a fair number of people at Taplow braving the cold, don't think they'll be the same number tonight for the return though!

6024 King Edward I at Twyford 12Feb2012 006.MOV - YouTube There were a fair number of people on Twyford platforms, but because of such bad light, I ventured to the car park for a short video. Luckily the turbo passed in front of me a few minutes earlier. Not sure what my camera was trying to focus on in the light, I may have been down too low so it was catching the railings or possibly the rails before the King was in focus.

Horace - Those pictures are outstanding of her crossing the sounding arch. So much small detail you've captured with the ducks/pigeons flying off, the crispness of her exhaust....lovely stuff

Free2grice - Looked to be the normal SD Set x12, mixture of Mk1&2's including two Metro Cammell Pullmans in maroon. I don't know the actual stock code being used.

Big Dave - Comment noted about my wishes, and I've removed the text.
