I don't seem to be able to find a thread re tomorrows tour with Earl of Mount Edgcumbe, please correct me if there is another thread somewhere.

I am hoping to see this at some point tomorrow on the outward run after nipping out to Garswood for 45305. I seem to be getting a liking for these green GWR thingies up this way... :cool1:

I shall now retire to the mods bunker... :peep:

    Eh up, timings here:-

Two nice photos there Graham and thanks for sharing those.

I won't be out this morning as I completely forgot I have an appointment at the bank at 11. I may be out this evening though.

Austin that Carr Mill shot is great, takes a lot of courage to just let the train run through like that, some try but don't get it right, but that really works..

Thanks John and Ralph for your very kind comments. I had planned to do that shot two weeks ago but arrived a little bit too late. Lovely still shot in latest 'Steam Railway' by Joan Green was the inspiration to try it today, especially as the sun was out. The shot was actually hand held, my main camera was on the tripod and was zoomed in a bit closer. I decided at the last minute to get this wide angle view too. Just as well I did as the other shot wasn't perfectly level so would have been rejected.

Well done for putting the shot at Bagillt on. I was on the bridge with my son & grandson, & John Rutter from the Llangollen Railway. My camera was acting up & shut off too early !

    Bob.
