Saw both these at Theale today. 70013 a few minutes down & 5029 caught me on hop running about 10 up. I was still sat in the car waiting. 5029 was lucky though, a couple of minutes later & 60024 came up on a tanker train & would of blocked my view.

Yeah, Nunney Castle was a pleasant surprise going through Didcot shortly after I got there yesterday (was just going to have a look at the King and Pendennis Castle - both had the boilers out of the frames but I saw both boilers and frames so is that a tick? Hmmmm). I was hoping it'd come back in the afternoon prior to today's railtour but it wasn't to be.

I saw them both at Ufton Nervet. I had originally intended on shooting over to Pangbourne for 5029 but there would not have been time. 70013 came along at walking pace and stopped in the loop there. She sounded great pulling away about 10 minutes later. 5029 came hurrying along rather early at about 12.13 and caught out one of the other guys waiting as he was sitting in his car. A very pleasant morning was spent watching the wildlife in between.
