I see on David's movements page, (that's not David's movements, it's the movement page on David's site!) that 45407 is off to Toton on March 9th.
I'm sure the reason is that DB Shenker want to have a go with a proper engine with a view to replacing all those nasty diesels but could there be another reason? Surely not a repaint into DB Verkehrsrot Ian?

:-k Possibly a driver training session?

I'm sure Ian will let us know, if we need to know. :-$

Isn't there a wheel lathe at Toton? I think Tangmere was fettled there a few months ago. Colin.

AFAIK Toton has a ground lathe, meaning the wheels don't need removing, only some motion parts dropping. The NYMR have sent locos by road to Toton for tyre turning for this reason in the past (as well as one to Thornaby, which has a ground lathe that is now, I think, out of use but has difficult road access).
