While browsing the preserved diesels forum, I noticed that in this picture :
CR 419 can just be glimpsed in its new BR guise as 55189 in the background. Anyone got any further images? There's nothing on srpssteam.com as yet.

When is it, Martin? Never been on a charter before.

Nice pictures on your fotopic site of Oakamoor by the way. You're right in your comments, the backlit ones are the best.

We're not allowed to take or publish any photos of 55189 completed right now sadly, due to the private charters that are to take place at the end of the month.

I have to say though, she is looking absolutely gorgeous and I feel very proud at being part of the team that help made this happen. I look forward to seeing her running in her BR guise, if only for a few days. I'm also looking forward to seeing other NatPres members up at Bo'ness. If any of you are up Sat 28th or Sun 1st, do say hello.

Asked about this, and apparently as part of the running agreement she has to stay in LNER livery for her entire ticket. Still a fantastic loco and looked good with the teaks. Steams like a witch too =P~
