OK. Let's have the normal separate thread for a train.

I'll start near Ashford, and then somewhere in the Filkestone are. Probably high up.

Let's hope she runs well today.

ECS came into Vic late this morning but she managed to get away on time. Passed South Croydon on time at around 9:03. Looked good in the morning frost and sun.

Details: on the Tram Road, at the harbour and finally at Chilham. All taken by the photo button on the video camera by the way - great bonus feature. Overall a great day!

    Superb photos, thanks for sharing.

The track up from the harbour looks in less than pristine condition, but presumably had been given the once over....hopefully so.

Tangmere was 30 mins late arriving at Canterbury apparently due to coaling problems at Folkestone.
Instead of watering by the old Goods Shed, it was done in the Down Loop to the consternation of many photographers on the platforms!

Must have left there on time and passed Broadstairs at right time.

Wanted to try out my new D90 so a trip to Folkestone seemed like a good option, even in the dull conditions.

Great shots Steve - fascinating to see the branch from a different perspective.

I was also interested to see so many photographers perched on the hillside under the Bayle this time and up amongst the chimney pots of the Shangri La - did anyone on here try either location?

Anyway, a few of my photographs from Folkestone Harbour can be found at http://jackbushell.fotopic.net/c1642996.html though they were taken from much more ordinary spots!

Some great photos and video guys. It wasn't a bad day! My offerings below.

    Passing Sevington, Ashford
Climbing the Harbour Branch from next to trig point 170m
    Leaving Ashford near Willesborough
Approaching Sturry station at the right time, when the sun appeared for a few minutes just before sunset!

A great selection of pictures and video. We did think about doing this one but decided to go for the Cromwell one as we have done the run with 34067 before and 850.
