Afraid not but i do know route is Banbury - Leamington - Coventry - Bedworth - Nuneaton, looking at timings either side of it somewhere around 18:45 woulden't be too far off the mark.

2 hours from Reading to Banbury is very generous and implies a long wait somewhere, probably Didcot or Hinksey/Oxford.

If anyone has any further info about this trip during the day, please post it. I'm hoping to leave work a little early and get a shot at Tackley.

    TIA

Great picture! From the angle it loos as though it was on the Down Fast at that point?

Unfortunately I couldn't get away to see it through Reading.

Anyone know of the reason as to why it's moving to Carnforth?

Given 34067 is taking the stock rather than a 47 i presume Tangemere is due some form of attention too ?.

Here are a couple of pics of Tangers passing Tackley at about 17:20. These are cropped from video frame-grabs. Note the second vehicle - looks to me like one from the Green Train. It didn't sound like one of the ones with flat wheels, though - never mind.

That 2nd photo is a little smasher! Crackingg!
Is that a teak coach within the set? I could have sworn i'd read somewhere that wooden bodied coaches weren't permitted on the network and that was one of the reasons why the teaks on the NYMR wouldn't be permitted to Whitby?
Must be wrong... anyway, smashing photographs :)

I think the QoS has an exemption because it doesn't carry fair paying passengers in the normal sense.

You trying to catch that shot of CP (35005) - Great shot though!! Very concerned with her carrying a mixed stock and only with 8 on! What is going on??? Major work? Possibly - Although maybe a major check up!!!????

The set was formed before many restrictions. All the coaches have been substantially rebuilt. No pre MkI coaches can go for registration on the mainline but ones registered already can stay. The exceptions may also be granted for other reasons such as the low passenger density and the fact that all passengers are pre booked. There will also be conditions for barrier vehicles to be used.
