Started watching Part 1 in high definition. Looks well composed, very steady and nicely edited. It was a bit of a dull day, but that's less important with video than stills, so long as the action is interesting. However, why the super-wide-screen stretch? Was it deliberate? In the telephoto shots of 777 coming under the bridge and the fireman operating the ground frame, the track looks like Brunel's broad gauge, and the loco boiler looks elliptical. Could you do an unstretched version, please?

down to how youtube the wide screen, was recorded in 1920 by 1080 but I reduce it down to 720 by 480, but the new wide screen stretchs it. I re-uploaded parts 2 and 3 as it was noticable on these part, you get a slight post box result but it is to correct scale.

Just upload another film about Taff85, I recorded it in 1440 by1080, which then maps down better to youtube settings on the full wide screen, using 720 by 576 which retains the same scale (almost but not noticable the difference) funny thing is while the the 2 films look ok on youtube they look stretched in their orginal form that I loaded them. Just for note most HD full isn't, its actaul 1440 by 1080, just some of the JVC can actaulky do the full 1920.
    For reference taff links

OH, one final thing, if you watch the last bit oif part 3 on 30777 theirs a verry nice flash back reflection from the fire box as the train goess away, hard to describe and to be honest it was a total fluke I was still filming as I almost shot of as it passed me.

What a difference HD makes, I particularly like the opening sequence in number three. Thanks for sharing those.
