As promised, and it's always better to be late than never, here is the long-promised but seldom delivered poll...so get voting

Suprisingly few nominations this year, I therefore assume there can be no debate about the galas in question (he said).

Poll will close Thursday 8th January

Thats a very difficult choice because almost each of them galas were good. (I only went to the Bluebell S&D Gala) so it would have to be that despite the Jinty failing and BV being withdrawn early..

It doesn't have to be a gala that you attended.

It could be one that you have seen photos / videos of and gone wow, wish I'd been there.

My vote is definitely going to SVR Cambrian gala in September. Was there friday morning to saturday evening and came away wishing I could have stay. To finally see 9017 on western stock was brilliant plus double headed manors around midnight was spot on.

Changing trains at half 5 in the morning at Hampton Loade was an experience I wont forget, as 818 and 5764 appeared from the mist almost out of nowhere. The list of other memorable moments could go on.

No option for the ESRs' Quarry Weekend at the end of June? ](*,)
Big freight engines on 700 tons or so of stone train was, I thought, excellent.

Yes, if the 2007 vote is anything to go by, I'm not taking bets on the winner this year...
