£150 for 6 people is a good price!
The 9F can fit on the turntable, was used at the ASG last October, was part of the TV series.
I'm in Coach B so one of us will be happy :)
But the trip is Cardiff to Plymouth via Bath on the 12th.
So if it's the Mk2s out of Bristol behind the locomotive tomorrow, and turned in...
Noticed here it says Mk1 SK 25728 is at Buckfastleigh.
I assume they mean 25729?
When did this arrive though as VCT Database still has it down...
Due to be 46100 & 70000.
Look forward to this vehicle finally entering traffic!
Well they did previously. I think it's well documented they want to move the PWay to Washford.
It doesn't make it acceptable. The terms just don't work anymore. Both parties need to work together for an outcome which it seems the WSR PLC...
Not only are they paying to run, overhaul and maintain a locomotive, they are giving up a vast area of land they are short on.
The WSR PLC will hardly be the first company to pull something like this.
Time moves on though.
I found a 2003 WSR leaflet the other day and a day rover cost £11. Cost of things the last 15 years have dramatically...
Why though? The S&DRT don't contribute to the running of trains on the WSR other than through 53808, but one locomotive does not make a railway....
Can anybody confirm if it's 70000 as originally planned this coming Sunday?
Again I wasn't having a dig at the 7820 group. Whatever state the WSR was in, if it was running 5 locos a day on 10 coach trains due to demand,...
I was merely pointing out that to the person who said the WSR had lost 3850, regardless it is not operational. It's not a criticism of the group...
It's not completed though. Flippin heck.
I have a video from Didcot in the mid 80s saying 7202 would be back in 5 years time.
People seem to forget 7822 has been spending time on the WSR in recent seasons, as it was due to do in 2020.
