Featuring our own small engines, plus some visitors, and freight as well as passenger trains, running to a special intensive timetable.

Up to 9 engines in steam, with much double-heading and motive power swapping, plus THREE sets of passenger coaches and two sets of freight wagons.

    Visiting locos expected are:

    • "Iowerth". Freelance vertical boilered
    • "Jack". Low-slung but powerful Barclay, built for a gasworks line with very tight clearances
    • "Jennie". New-build Kerr Stuart Wren class
    • "Paddy". Freelance vertical-boilered
    • "Woto". Neat little Bagnall, recently returned from overhaul, and already helping out with our train services
    And from our own fleet:

    • "Chaloner". 1877-built De Winton vertical boilered
    • "P C Allen". Typical product of Orenstein & Koppel, returning after overhaul
    • "Peter Pan". An original Kerr Stuart Wren, dating from 1922
    • "Rishra". The only working Baguley steam engine in the world--need we say more?
Plus live-steam miniature trains at Stonehenge Works.

    Provisional Timetable

    Passenger departures from Page's Park:

    10.40, 11.20, 12.30, 13.00, 13.35, 14.40, 15.10, 15.40

    Freight departures from Page's Park:

    11.54, 14.05, 16.25

    Passenger departures from Stonehenge Works:

    11.20, 11.45, 12.25, 13.20, 13.55, 14.35, 15.30, 16.25

    Freight departures from Stonehenge Works:

    10.28, 12.58, 15.07

I had a great time there yesterday. Really intensive service, and so much going on at Stonehenge Works I could of happily spent the day watching trains shuffling about there. The two Wrens working together was something pretty special.

Busier still? Although it wasn't crowded on the platforms, at least one train was declared full at least 5 minutes before departure, with passengers advised to take the following train.

think it was actually two trains at the same time one in platform 1 and one in two of pages park. was only five coaches in total, but still a good day nearly 400 people on the sunday.

A nice selection. The log train is a bit different from the norm.
