    Hello Guys

My name is Danny Jones and I am the webmaster for the www.burystandard4group.org.uk website. We have recently decided to revamp the website, give a general tidy up and freshen things up.

On the updates you can find a great selection of 80097 and 46428 seen during the BR eras, Barry Scrapyard eras, Early Restoration, each indiviual move to Bury and later restoration.

These also include mile stones within the restoration of 80097 which has seen it move into the shed, smokebox fitted, smoke box door fitted, chimney fitted, tanks fitted and cab fitted.

Other features within the website include our own workshop located at the end of platform 1/2 at Bury Bolton Street on the East Lancashire Railway, Construction of our workshop and pictures of the machined components that have been manufactured in house.

We also have sections on our sales coach showing the wide range of new and second hand items for sale which include books, magazines, cups, mugs, clocks, new and second hand model railways and more.... There is also a selection of pictures showing the sales coach from the old days when it was located on platform 4.

The last section is for the Bury Standard 4 Wagon Group which has a large collection of Brake Vans, Goods Wagons, Box Vans, Tankers and more. There will be regular update including now and then restoration photos, freight train photos and more. The wagon section will include once complete a list of every wagon we own with a picture and detailed information. There is also information and pictures showing when the group did a wagon push from Ramsbottom to Rawtenstall in 1987.

There is also information on how you can become a member and support the restoration of 80097 which is now moving a fast pace.

Also one last thing....if you do a spare 5 minutes can i please ask if you could sign our guest book.....we only have 3 entries.

    Thank You

    Danny Jones

Just spent a few minutes looking through the site - it looks well (a few spelling mistakes here and there!!), looks like 80097 is making very good progress

    Good luck

    Keith

    Danny,
The link still does not work. It seems to refer to a standard 5 group. See copy of link below. I would have signed/commented in your guestbook but shied away when I was asked to log-in.

Danny, the link on the OP works, but the footer on your signature goes to www.80097.co.uk/ which seems to no longer exist.
