34046 seems to be running at around 50mph which is presumably the speed limit due to the weather issues. Except for what might have been a signal stop or at least a severe check between Worting and Basingstoke.

Looks like it might be stuck behind other services at Woking, looking at the SWT map. Hope the tender isn't too dry (on the inside!) by the time it gets to Victoria

Didn't know RTT did maps too. They don't seem to linked from the home page. Do you know what other routes are available and their URLs?

It's struggling to get through Woking!

I wonder where the tree has fallen between Addlestone and Weybridge? (SWT web site). And if that is causing a re-route of the train?

Edit: Well, it seems to be stopped at/near Byfleet at present and has been for some minutes.

I used the link in one of the posts early. The south western mainline is shown from Weymouth all the way into London.

I wonder if they will just send it up the main to Waterloo now if Victoria is in such a mess.

And sort out what to do with the ecs later on!

Must be through Clapham Junction by now as the up Bournemouth that was behind it has got to CJ. Could even make an on time arrival at Victoria but 34046 seems to have fallen off RTT.

Tour has just passed Streatham. Must have turned off at Wimbledon towards Tooting in order to get to Victoria.

Bugger. This is turning into a really interesting and rare tour route wise, wish I had been on it.

So let's get this straight. If you want to get from Woking to Victoria then you can do it in about an hour via Wimbledon and Streatham and that includes taking fifteen minutes for the normal eight minutes or so journey from Woking to Byfleet and New Haw. So why is it that all Victoria charters have to trundle to Woking via Staines and take 80 minutes to do it?

Sorry NR, you've just let the cat out of the bag. Well done for being creative and getting UKRT folk home on time on a very difficult day for everyone but let's sort out this Victoria to Woking nonsense in the New Year please!
