Well,I have just received an email from RTC giving the updated loco allocations for the next 5 trips- so maybe this is the beginning of an era of better and more open communication,it would be nice to think so!

I see that RTT has not yet posted any revision to the return timings to Stratford. Yet I see that it is showing a faster time back to KX by shortening the Cambridge stop. Now showing KX as 2226. Interesting. Either way it's last train home.

All I have from the RTC site is the return at 1913 from Norwich and 2215 at Stratford. I presume we will get more detail on the train. But this is the updated info on RTT for a KX return. That said, it's only a path that may just not be taken but the additional information is odd. It's not for us to know though is it?

Ontime so far, short stop in KX tunnel with a bit of slipping, the presence of an oil based solution is ever present at the rear.

It's certainly giving it some through Welywn.

Despite the nay Sayers, it's not a bad day to be in coach A.
All I need now is a bacon butty.

Erm a tender full of dust with some welsh lumps thrown in.

Thanks for the updates, can you confirm the return run is via the Great Eastern and any time if known?

Return is via Great Eastern to Stratford. ( all the RTC staff are saying this, as does the booklet and tickets)...
Just arrived Cromer, 1712 arrived from Cromer, 1912 off Norwich, Water at Marks Tay (UL) 2042-2110

Lovely trip on NNR, the trip could yet live up to its title.

Meldreth and Lakenheath. Working well at both, great soundtrack at Lakenheath, helped by standing next to a soggy wooden sleeper and a loose fishplate for a super clickety click.
