Keep your eye on the Vintage Trains web site, and Ben usually posts here in the 'What's On' thread when they are ready to take bookings.

Regrettably that is the most likely scenario. My earlier post about 5043 on Martin Mill Bank was pretty tongue-in-cheek, as Kent is one of the tightest counties in the UK as far as gauging is concerned, (CTRL excepted), so if it's anything other than a Bulleid, a Brit or a Black Five, I'd be pretty amazed, although if anyone can pull off a surprise, it's Vintage Trains.

It will be interesting to see if a Hall makes it on the Robin hood line and on to Sheffield. I guess it will be too big to fit past the platforms on the route

Unlikely anything GWR would go to Canterbury, but never say never, good chance of booking that regardless of what's upfront as Midlands - Sussex/Kent is so unusual, I'm fully expecting some square device name after an Airfield.

shame , shame and thrice shame upon you

I'm sure that engine will hurl the contents of its oil bath in your general direction before a few well placed rockets from the chimney to ignite the sorry gaggle of doubters :)

All our tours through April 2014 are now online. There are a few guest engines rostered for early 2014. We have confirmed the availability of them, but anything can happen in 6 months.

We hope you can join us on some of the tours. We are putting the water carrier to good use to try and reduce some of the journey times and increase time at the destinations.

The online booking system is also up and running, so no need to call the office to book, unless you want to, then we will be more than happy to take your booking over the phone.

    Hope to see you soon!

    Ben VT

PS - Paper copies of the brocure will be arriving mid-week.
