I have also noticed that when hill climbing, 5029 is quite slow, looking back at videos of her on the likes of Evershot, Hemerdon. Not sure why that is, especially compared to 70013 etc.

No I just feel that she climbs at a slower pace up some hills with the same load compared to other engines! Nonetheless it's great to see and hear her back!

Just a thought for those opting to see both 'Clan Line' and 'Oliver Cromwell' / TBA! in the Castle Cary area on Sunday evening. Be aware that the Glastonbury Festival ends that evening. With approx 130,000 people needing to get home, the roads in the area could be busy from late afternoon. <BJ>

A post on SE-Gen group suggested that the ECS tomorrow to Bristol will be a 33 and 44932, just to add to the confusion for those out riding/linesiding this train!

According to the lineside grapevine this morning, there's nothing wrong with Ollie, which is good news. Seems 5305LA declined the offer of extra work, which probably means they don't have a support crew available at short notice.
