Surprised this hasnt been mentioned earlier...

but as part of LT 150 event at the Epping/Ongar railway, Met No1 + Met coach 353 + Milk Van will run at Epping, but also Gresley N2 1744 is down to visit.

there was a post up for our event at Epping but a day after this forum was changed and seems to be lost. we also have another visitor in mind and might be of interest to the line. any ideas of what it might be or what would you like it to be?

The J15 would have been quite acceptable as IIRC they worked the line.

Further details of the Tube150 event at Epping Ongar Railway have just been released on http://eorailway.co.uk/events/tube150/
TICKETS are now available on sale through this page, and you get a discount when purchasing online. Also now available are the supplementary/upgrade tickets for travelling in Met Coach 353, which are strictly limited and we strongly advise booking now to avoid disappointment.)

I see MetNo1 and 5521 have arrived at Epping, pictures of Met no1 in service with 4141 last weekend.

Will a timetable be available in the next day or so?

Only a couple of days to go and no sign of one still.

    Cheers,

Was having much the same thought. Would love to go on Monday if I can get a half-day at work but need to know how much would still be going on by the time I could get there to know if it's worth arranging rotas.

I did email them but as usual replies from EOR are seemingly infrequent. I emailed them a few weeks back with regards to what residents would be running, got a reply within a couple of hours but when it comes to timetables there is often no response. This happened on the 'Big steam up' event last year, all they could say was they hoped to have a timetable in time for the event. I know they are still a fairly new setup but an idea when trains run does help. I can only guess trains commence at 9:30-10ish?

Their facebook page seems to offer no hint as to if and when a timetable will be available either.

Bit frustrating. I'm still very keen to go though. The bus timetable running till 6.30pm-ish hints that it'll still be worthwhile for a few hours even if I can't get there till 2.30ish, which is probably likely. I notice some buses stop at Toot Hill and Blake Hall. Does anyone know if there are decent spots for photos of the line around there. Like to always get a mix of travel and pictures when I can.

Not sure if my cache is stuck but it still looks like just buses on my screen.
