    GBRf hire in 55022 Again

55022 'Royal Scots Grey' has been hired by GBRf but this time for Scotrail unit movements between Shields TMD - Glasgow Works & Yoker - Kilmarnock. There was supposed to be a drag in/out of Glasgow Works 2 weeks ago but was cancelled so it could be heading to Scotland soon.

Yes I am an active volunteer
Can someone direct me to the previous thread when it was hauling Alcan trains at Blyth?
There were some excellent pics on there. I took a few myself and promptly lost them when my hard drive went bang!

(Don't bother, I have checked myself in the search box and found it. Why didn't I do that first!!!!
    Jolly good shots anyway)

If going from shields to Glasgow then I presume it would go across to Carlisle then up to Glasgow would it not?

Shields TMD is just outside of Glasgow, so it would go via the City Union line through the middle of Glasgow then out to Eastfield Depot where the loco runs round and heads back past Springburn and then into Glasgow Works

A bit of caution here, Martin Walker (the loco. owner) has posted on his web site that it's not yet a done deal, job is still being negotiated. It's safe to say that he should know.
Read his comments on his web site.

The site is open to all, no need to clock in.

:attention:There are TWO of the mighty machines out and about on the main line on Wed. 24th, both departing Bury. Alycidon leaves about 08:30, 55022 RSG leaves an hour later. Times for Alycidon are on the DPS site.
    Happy days.

Saw 55022 heading to Glasgow Works today but a coal train arrived in the loop (and section of track) that was closest to me 2 minutes before 55022 came so I haven't decided if I will upload the video of it or not.
