It was exciting to see the two Baldwins - does this mean that the S********h revival is back on!

Has there been any progress with the Ashover plans? I remember some initial route options being released a year or two ago, but I haven't seen anything regarding land or stock acquisition since that time and there is very little news on their website. Can anyone update us?

    Regards,

    Keith

Before you lot go giving away Mr Lee's newly acquired Baldwins could he have the chance to restore them and run them at Statfold, not on someone else pipe dream.

No intention of giving them away for him. :)

I could not give a rat's ar5e about the Snailbeach farce on here, I did not read any of it!
I just thought that Staffordshire and Derbyshire are neighbours so it wouldnt be far for them to visit at such time as they have been restored to their former glory and the Ashover has made some progress.

I can't get over how po-faced some people are on here! Although two more engines for an already large collection begs the question of whether or not some might go out on loan in years to come.

Err, Apart from 'Saccharine' & 'Isibutu' I think every 2' steam loco at Statfold has visited other railways..............

Well, Izzy did make the stop off at Porthmadog en-route to Statfold, though I suspect this was prior to purchase.
