46233 erupts out of Euston 20-10-12.jpg

In poor light, D of S makes a volcanic departure from Euston.

Thanks to those who suggested various photo locations for this run.

Unfortunately London Underground's upgrade works line closures conspired to keep me at Euston, but I'll try the suggested locations on the next occasion.

    Cheers all!

If you do manage to get that far out, here's a couple of tasters of what you're up against!

Taken by a mate of mine who went out for it.

    You're right there!

lucky Bugga must have got a lull in the traffic, normally at Carpenders Park you have your fingers crossed that if a Pendo turns up at the same time that it gets out of the way pronto - sometimes (on very rare occasions) pendo drivers will hang back until the the steam loco has reached the station!
