    As we saw no news on the tele of a big kettle dropping into the river in York, and no International Rescue turning out Thunderbird 2 with a huge crane (complete with sky hooks), can we safely assume it got out and back, and Notwork Rail are happy enough to let snow ploughs proceed to the coast in future?

    Yes, 60009 there and back safely, and on it again tomorrow (14th). Heard a rumour that NR didn't send anybody last week to inspect the bridge as it passed over.
