On the 27th July trip our rtc steward was waiting with us at brighouse and was in contact with the train. Knew what was happening all day. Well organized for our party.

Rumour has it that No 9 will not be on the Flyer next week either, bridge issues still not resolved?

At Holyhead last weekend, a member of No 9's support crew said they were supposed to be on today's Scarborough trip, with 6233 on the Carlisle tomorrow, but the 6233 people had asked to swap. He mentioned that today's trip would have been a test run for No 9 to Scarborough (presumably, the criteria being that if is fell into the Ouse, it would have failed the test).

Why is there a bridge issue all of a sudden for No 9 at York?

    Has today's flyer been spotted?

Flyer invariably leaves the water stop ahead of time so as to be ready to be away from Ashton Moss as soon as road is clear.

Anyone know the reason for the 30 minute late arrival at Brighouse this morning after leaving Rochdale only 10 down?

From an earlier post.. "Heard it's running around 20 late because of an NR DMU holding it up..."

I heard that also Ralph, but it left Rochdale 10 minutes before the dmu which was an all stations stopper, so how did it catch up to 46233, when on previous weeks it has been allowed to run
also 20 minutes wait (not the water stop) at Denton Jct!!! whats that in aid of

When the Flyer came over Diggle it was never late, and it is a far more intense TPX service
i think of the 4 Brighouse runs 1 has run to time
