    Hi all.

For sometime now, I have been giving some thought to the setting up of a narrow gauge locomotive owners group. The reason for this is that I have come across a number of steam locomotives from around the world which may be looking for new homes, hopefully here in the UK.

I know I can’t do it by myself and I am sure that there are others on this site who feel the same way about these locomotives as I do.

I am asking for anyone who is interested in this project to reply to this request as soon as possible, since one loco which is already in the UK is currently up for sale and I would like to get this group off the ground.

I have also been told of at least two others which are for sale, but they are long term restoration candidates.

Should we get enough money in to the project, I would recommend that we should purchase these locos first of all before any work is carried out on any of them and also to find a suitable base for them to go to.

I am sure there will be many questions that need to be asked and I will try and answer them as soon as I can.

Waiting to hear from you all

    Regards

    Colin Rainsbury

If you set your group preferences to no mail, you can check messages online only.
Or, you can set your Yahoo mail to forward messages to your normal email address.
Or you can ask the Yahoo group to send emails to another email address!

    Cheers
