I Quote "This auction is for a stunning 7.25 inch / 7 1/4 gauge live steam 2-6-0 loco, its tender and 5 X 2 metres of welded 7.25 gauge track."
It's made me speachless Im ust admit but stunning it isn't (in my eyes)

"Stunning (adjective): Causing or capable of causing emotional shock or loss of consciousness."

    Sounds about right to me.

has more of a Princess Royal look about it... paint it red , add a leading bogie and rebuild the cab as its too small and it would look better. (Oh and lose that tender of course...I'm still stunned by it)

What worries me is, apart from the 205psi... "all the loco would need is an axle pump or injector to gain a boiler certificate."
Am I missing something or does this mean at present you fill the boiler, close filling hole, and then raise steam and run until boiler gets low...

Think it does mention a hand pump being fitted.

I see someone thought it had enough potential to pay just over £1000 for it.

You are indeed missing something. As the description says, it has a hand pump, but to get a boiler certificate it needs two independent methods of putting water into the boiler.

The tender genuinely made me laugh. Looks like someone had a dreadful accident with a photocopier, the enlarger button, and designs for an A3 and the 5AT.

I gather that the designer was later savaged to death by his guide dog ...

I'll say it's stunning - the only loco I've ever seen that needs tazering!

I'd keep the hand pump and turn the whole thing into a novelty bar - the tender looks like it accommodate plenty of ale ;)
