Err... that's what we were discussing - trying to work out which Torbay turns she is likely to do, given her other commitments.

That was a spectacular performance from Clan Line last Friday. I understand it was running ahead of time.

UK Railtours latest brochure advises about trips that they are planning from late August up to the end of the year "there will be at least one special using our favourite steam loco 35028 Clan Line hopefully including Honiton Bank provided signalling improvements west of Yeovil materialise".

35028 is now booked to haul the Cathedrals Express on May 3rd from London Victoria to Exeter. Wonder if the Green Train will be used that'll look great behind her (hopefully the problems that affected that stock have been sorted)

I for one am absolutely happy that 35028 is getting a chance to stretch her legs a bit more. Is this because there is less bookings for her on the VSOE this year? I know that she won't be doing them for part of the Summer due to Steam being kept from the London Termini's due to the Olympics but isn't that when she is down for the Torbay's.

Steam Dreams are not using the Green Train any more as it is owned by WCRC and they are now working with DB Schenker as operator. They are planning on launching their own set of stock in due course which, I'm told will be green. In the meantime the set is predominantly maroon (the SRPS coaches)

Excuse me, but why has or has Clan Line been removed at UK steam for the Torbay express?
