    Re: Russell

According to the unnofficial WHR site "Chris Boulter has resigned as Deputy Chairman of the WHHR and as a director as of 7/4/12 after disagreements. He follows Shop Manager Ian Butters and Retail Manager Sally Baker, all in the last few weeks"

Chris added on the WHR e-group that "With regret that my wish to promote inclusion, a sharing of and diversity of opinion with integrity and respect for all members was not shared by all"

Clearly all is not well, is there really nothing anyone can say about what's behind all this?

You are right, can the mods move this discussion to a new thread? WHHR Theft maybe?

    Re: Russell

I dont know if multiple resignations from the WHHR board have anything to do with Russell, but it would seem connected to the shop theft being discussed in the Russell thread so that seemed the obvious place to post it.

I really dont see the problem with that, so why i deserved being called an 'FR man' who already knows whats going on i have no idea. The only access to the grapevine i have is through the e-groups and forums like this, which have been as good as silent on the subject... which is why i asked if someone could please explain what on earth is going on!

My apologies Chris, I assumed that the NGG16 avatar, and your past defence of all things F&WHR you were an FR Society member, and 'in the loop'.

While i have recently become a FRS member, i cant say the occasional society magazine through the letterbox really puts me 'in the loop'.

Regarding my defence 'of all things F&WHR' i simply defend what i think is right, which unfortunately rarely included the actions of the WHHR when Mr Hewett was involved. However things have clearly changed for the better under Martyn Owen, which is why i find the resignations so concerning...

The resignations, well 2 of them are something I have seen many times in different volunteer organisations.
A difference of opinion occours and one preson will not accept, for whatever reason, the majority vote and they resign it is a luxury that a volunteer has.
Mr Hewitt did it when he did not get his way, so he resigned claiming so many things it was hard for me to tell the truth from fiction.

Everyone hears a different story as to what happened, so far we have been told the computers were wiped, but knowing the IT guru at Gelerts Farm and who was supposed to wipe the memory, I knew that was not true.
On this very site, we are told that the very existance of gelerts Farm was in peril!! I spoke to both ordinary members and board members who said.... well I would be moderated if I printed what was said but the polite answer was that there was no peril.
So I am sure there will be many versions of what happened and who said what, some will be near the truth and some will be outright fabrications.......

As I read it, the majority of people are after news; Willetts has made a succinct and informative reply, for which many thanks.

If you don't like it, there's no-one forcing you to read it.

Only because you were just 'Willetts' ..oo... nearly 20 years ago and lost in the shrubbery at Abergynolwyn! After rather a pleasant evening in the 'Railway'.
