That's a handsome machine, well done and top marks to all concerned. I saw 70000 "whisper" through Leeds station and what a fantastic sight that was. We ALL should be grateful to the people who put their money, their time, and their skills into turning these machines out. Well done. :clap2:

I can only add to all the previous comments...well done to PRCLT on the quality of the overhaul and the speed with which it was carried out. I remember "cabbing" 46233 in green at Edge Hill MPD in 1962, but no matter what the colour I just love to see it!
See you on the "Citadel Express" on 26th May.

As another who enjoyed the delights of 46233 at Edge Hill Loco, I would just like to echo everyone elses comments. It looks great.

She looks superb! It brought back so many memories when I saw the photos.

Hope all goes well on the 'Night Owl', I'm sure it will -- she has a great team looking after her.

Times now on UK Steam t0329c.htm

The outward run should be in daylight so I suspect some people will be leaving work early....

Noticed on the PMRT website that the Duchess is out for a light engine mainline test run on Tues. 13th .March, anyone know if the the route will be Butterley -Chesterfield - Sheffield via Barrow Hill as I think she is facing that way when coming out of the MRC. Any times or info will be greatly appreciated, many thanks,
    Wardy.

Does this mean a face on the Duchess?

Edit : I've just noticed that the MRC site says the loco is running Saturday, not Sunday.

The scheduled Light Test run tommorrow has been cancelled. I'm sure they are going to reschedule promptly.
