    i wish I still had them...I wrote to Brush and they sent me a pile of sales literature which showed the 31s looking much the same as that.

    Still lots more bodywork to do as we have only really attacked on cab so far. But it was the worse. With luck we might have a go at the middle this coming winter....

    Well done for taking the headlight off and putting the skirts on! Thorough preservation there in my view.

    If I had a pound every time I'd seen a pic of a green diesel with a 1990's headlight on the front - with a caption something along of the lines of "you can't tell that this isn't 1960" - i'd probably be able to buy a loco myself :)

    Unauthentic headlights on green/blue diesels is nearly as bad as green DMU's with red bulbs in the marker lights!
