A sign of the times, unfortunately. As many forum members are probably already aware, if one forgets to add a watermark to images posted on-line, it's only a matter of time before someone else plagiarises the shot for their own devious purposes. If your "experience" really is "ruined", which I have to say I doubt, then the only recourse, surely, is to put your hand in your pocket and go out and buy a copy of 'Heritage Railway', or one of the other mags.

Or take your own as Paul most assuredly does, from many varied and well chosen view points and angles - rather than always sixty degrees on, and ten degrees below horizontal at about 100mm zoom

I have heard via the update system that there may be a problem with a lubricator on the loco. Last info was that they are at the water stop at Bootham.

New update, they are now moving into York station, no further info at the moment.

Edit, at 19.02 the crew are hoping to repair the fault at York.

    Latest update,

There was a problem with a fractured oil feed pipe to the left hand cylinder. They have made a repair by borrowing one from Winston Churchill at York. The last info I have had is that they have now got everyone back on board and are waiting for a path to depart York for the return run.

    Hopefully all will be well.

    edit:- left York 19.16

    Neil.

Thanks Belle, I was just setting off out when I learned of this - it looks like I have an extra 50 minutes, then.

Quick thinking to borrow a part from 34051

Thanks for the updates Neil, hopefully they may be able to make up some time for all those passengers onboard.

Three short shots of Tangmere on the outward leg this morning at Holmes Chapel, Diggle Junction amd Ulleskelf (just after Church Fenton):

Looks like I was drunk setting up the tripod at Holmes Chapel!

Had a nice chat with Phil Smith at Diggle.

A rather quiet and distant country view from this morning with the train not far south of the water stop at S Milford.
Not sure I am happy with it, but not to worry I cant do it next week as we will be on board.

No lol, I didnt realise it was from the same spot, I'll have to go look at yours. I tried the area for the first time after remembering Mark W had taken some shots in that area before.
