Starting thread. I was near Twyford this morning waiting for 70013 Okiver Cromwell with the W Somerset Explorer, when Tornado appeared in the other direction !!!!!! Excellent surprise...she was on the way to Willesden to pick up her train. Sunny but pretty windy out there .

Thats odd, sorry about that; it actually works when rekeying code direct to net but I don't know how to change it on here so it loads auto. Its already worked ok for the West Somerset thread. Oh and I must take lessons on how to reduce wind ! (noise )

Could be a really lovely photo, but totally spoiled by graphics right across the centre!

Why don't you just upload a very low res version if you are worried about how viewers use the image? And put your copyright details, name or whatever at the bottom. We can all enjoy your creative skills then, without undermining any other use you may want to put the images to.

Intended to be a constructively helpful comment,

    Bryan

All very relevant and true Byran, I couldn't agree with you more infact!
I was going to put an apology about it but decided not to as it needs explaining.....

Unfortunately for the time being (hopefully not much longer) I have no control over the automatically applied gallery watermark. The gallery is on Pikfu and I'm a beta tester, the settings have been carried over from my old fotopic account but with the transparency of text set to 100%!
When I get access to the settings it will be much more subtle, I would currently rather have a watermark that's a little hideous then no watermark at all !

    Cheers,
    Steve

Was 5 minutes early through Shortlands on the return leg, caught us all by surprise.

    Regards,

Was on time through Tonbridge in glorious evening sun, chattering very well, would be interested to know what her time to passing Sevenoaks was?

A big thank you to whoever was providing updates from the train. The system worked brilliantly.

Damn. I knew it was running but didn't go out for it.

When I saw the timings I thought it would be well past dark when it passed near my home on it's outward journey. After adding in the time I thought might be needed for a major boiler overhaul somewhere in South London.

Tornado near Headcorn and Sturry. Good to see it back out on the mainline :)
