Once at tune yard is there any confirmed information as to bittern / d.o.n going to heaton to turn or if it will be using the hardened triangle. Times would be very useful too if anyone knows. Thanks.

If she has the second tender with her, I assume she will turn on the triangle.

Since the only booked water stop is Grantham (according to UK Steam) does this imply DoNZ will have her second tender?

Finally got the ducks in a row and the Steam Age gang will be out and about again. I'm going over to Stoke Bank for 4492 (via Northampton for 6201) then back home for a few days. "TWR" will take up the chase on Sunday, after cheering on The Earl in the Pennines tomorrow, and the Welsh contingent will join in on Monday. I'll make my way to Kilmarnock on Wednesday evening and follow the second half of the trip, so between us we hope to get something on all nine days. On Thursday, Friday and the last Sunday we should have three cameras pointed at it. Sometimes we join the "gallery", but more often you'll spot us a little further up the hill! So, if you see my tatty silver Skoda estate (OU04 NGN, known as Noggin) by the way, give me a wave. No promises about when the final results will be ready to view, though.

She normally uses it on ECML trips so I'd guess so.

It allways used to get to Grantham with one tender and so I think it will just have the one. Shame really as it means only one photo opportunity in the Peterborough area.

Hold On,hold on,never mind about mobile/texting jargon..many here do not,or not not wish,to own mobile phones.
In which case, please keep us posted in the normal way on the topic and forum.
I think this is a valid point Im making on behalf of many that might feel the same way.

Also keep the photos coming to the unfortunate that cannot see this grand occasion for themselves.
