After a big update of uksteam.info (thanks David) this is showing for Thursday with Loco TBA. Is it 6201 perhaps?

Is there anything else at Tyseley that needs a couple of test runs??

Definitely NOT Kinlet Hall. The rebuild after the 10-year overhaul is progressing well but loco is not yet ready to venture out on the mainline.

The small but enthusiastic rebuild team is working very hard but it takes many man (person!) hours to put it all back together again, especially as most of the boiler cladding is new and has to be carefully fitted.

Thanks for the above info Chris and good luck with 4936.

    So 6201 still a possibilty?

    Neil.

Peckett 2004 undergoing braking trials for 75MPH ;)

Is 5029 still at Tyseley ? i'd agree 6201 is most likely.

Interesting the afternoon run is a 0Z headcode, suggesting no support coach.

Not much point in bringing it seen as it won't need watering or coaling and they'd only have to run round it at Stratford. 9600's LE test run last year had no support coach either.

Good to see Lizzie out and about again.
Next year is the Queens something or other jubilee (not sure which), any chance that Her Majesty will take a ride behind the loco that is named after her?
