Nice scene, very over processed though.

I really like this one from Chris Parry. Catches the lines of Lyd perfectly and the mixed train helps avoid the problem of Lyd looking too tall with lower-roofed FR stock.

Yes, a much better photo, still I wish people would not add too much saturation.

I presume it is still running with the FR cab profile etc or did they alter before it was transfered to the WHR?

Running with FR profile cab at the moment...

I don't think Bob has started fabricating the L&B profile cab extensions yet.

Bob Yates - Fitter/Fabricator/Certified Welder etc etc etc at Boston Lodge - who, together with David Yates (his retired father), has been responsible for most of the work carried out on 'Lyd' at Boston Lodge...

...and whose contribution to the 'Lyd' Project is recognised by the inclusion of his surname on the newly-fitted worksplates...

Lyd is currently on display in light steam in the headshunt at Launceston. She should be on display in light steam tomorrow as well. Due to some unresolved issues she will, however, only haul passenger trains on Sunday.

What to say! Lyd is a wonderful loco. Bigger than I expected somehow. As I m off for the IGE trip I went to-day to see Lyd. Good move!

Watching Lyd move LE was ace. Next-- a trip on the WHR to ride behind Lyd.

many involved with the construction were at Launceston--a friendly railway!-and inspiring to meet + chat with a few of them

If you can ride on Sunday,DO. Despite the Looe clash........
