The weather forecast while not fabulous isn't too bad by the standard of recent weeks i.e. rain

According to the BBC weather forecast it is due to rain for most of the time the tour is running! I hope to see the smoke / steam trail from Canary Wharf as it travels across south London.

    Regards,

    Dan

we were 15 early at Sevenoaks on the way back, think the ecs may have been a teensy but late as the 37 was charging round Battersea reversible as I passed on the train home. Some cracking running, where are all these hills in Kent?

Only 9 coaches I see, I wonder whether RYTC had difficulty in selling tickets for it?

Tracked it across south London between Brixton and Nunhead from our office on Canary Wharf, five minutes well spent resting my eyes from the computer screen! Dad managed to photograph it through Chelsfield on the return, but the shot is a bit too out of focus to merit sharing.

    Regards,

    Dan

well I only booked a fortnight ago and my ticket was 81, don't know if they send out in booking order. It wasn't heaving but it seemed well loaded. Must be honest I only booked when the £40 offer came out. £60 for a five hour round in a circle pure train ride is pushing it a bit compared to what other companies are offering / charging

    Nice shots guys :)

Was out for 70013 myself and couldn't quite believe the luck we had with the weather. Was dull and miserable in the morning, sun and blue sky appeared as I got to Rye and once I returned home to Hastings later on, the clouds and rain returned! Anyway, here's two shots of Cromwell next to Rye windmill and also powering through Crowhurst:

Got the number 73 bus back to Kings Cross myself, took 25 minutes and cost £2 single fare, not crowded and half the price of the underground, plus you see a bit of London.

Thanks to all concerned for a wonderful trip and still could hear the loco working even though I was near the back of the train.
