Is there any figures to how many passengers used the PDSR this season?

Cheers Kelvin, just had a quick look - good stuff mate. Gave the obligatory 5* ratings old chap. I have to say, I know everyone has their own views on the preservation and authenticity subjects - but you have to go a long way to better what the P&DSR has. Mother nature has given it a helping hand with the sea and countryside views, but the rolling stock is top notch as well and really compliments the line. How long 'til Easter...???!

Well it some ways it would be good for them to have another guest the same as last year, but so long as it doesn't mean another embarrassing episode for a GWR loco!

Well, if it was the same as last year then it would be another GWR loco sat down on a tour in the area, like Nunney with the axle box. And we don't want that, GWR mainline steam needs to get it's reputation back!

Ye s the website changed a while ago on that subject does anyone use facebook if s do a search for the PDSR and it does get some interesting info such as a reminder to watch the said program and a reminder that the season starts on 1st of April.

As for who was on the footplate I believe young Mr Wilson was!!

  14. Nice site, and yes the two troublemakers were up on the footplate with Michael! One of them also popped up after Christmas at WSR!

    See you soon guys!!

Just logged onto the P&DSR website and to my horror the 24th & 25th April are now down as Standard Timetable days. A few days ago they were down as 'Peak' and the events page showed another 'Heritage Festival' for this weekend, which has now gone, so whats happened?

So, all will become clear when you are gathered together in the waiting room and the little grey cells are exercised?

All previous mentions of the Heritge weekend gala has now disappeared from the events page. I was looking forward to a visit as it seemed a well patronised and organised event last year, maybe it was the Nunney factor

As far as I've heard there will be no visitors this year but they are changing things so thats probably why the details on the website have gone from what I saw it was almost an exact copy of last years poster with a new date so would be useless if things have changed.
