At least. He got presented with a minature toy shovel before he left shed and told to use that instead.

34046 will not be attending the MHR autumn gala. Visits to heritage lines such as the MHR may well take place in the future, but only after the engine has been mainline certified and is able to travel from the WSR by rail. The policy of the Braunton Management Company is not to move the engine by road. See http://www.braunton-management.co.uk

This is what i thought too when i saw this lineup, but the MHR website still shows that Braunton will visit. Unless they hope she will be cleared for use on the mainline by September?

How about it being towed to MHR as per the Swanage and MHr's engines to Eastleigh? Or is it too far to be towed?

I can confirm that 'Braunton' is scheduled to attend our Spring Gala. We are very much looking forward to welcoming her to our Railway.

This is subject to the usual availability clauses - i.e should the loco develop some kind of fault between now and then that would prevent it from attending etc.

    Thanks

I'm suspecting that might be a mistype. I could be wrong but that's my feeling.

Sorry, my mistake! I did mean Autumn, not Spring!

'Braunton' is scheduled to be here for our Gala 11-13 September 09.

    My apologies for the confusion.

Yes I think he is, he is also stirring it.

What a pathetic little man who appears to have one sub standard brain cell. The best we can do here is ignore the little squirt and give his comment the contempt it deserves.

    Regards
    Chris

The person who suggested that a simple mistype makes the Marketing Manager a moron, doesn't even deserve even a sub-standard brain cell! In fact, I'm suprised he managed to get on here without signposts!

i take it that Braunton will be towed in light steam then, i just hope that she fairs a bit better than the swanage based bullieds , both of which had needed repairs afterwards, talking about which, is manston still at eastleigh, ,its a pity she couldnt have made a working visit to mhr metals it would have at least given the owning group chance to get her sorted out mechanically
