Just to confirm that Top Gear is on June 21st. There is a trailer on Youtube. It has 4 small kids representing Jeremy, James and Richard as well as a mini Stig. Quite funny. No Tornado sadly.

That's great news. I thought they might have saved it until later in the series as a 'tease', but OTOH the 'secret' of the result is bound to be blabbed to Joe Public before too long...

I know its been said before, but this will raise the profile of Tonado & the preservation movement to new hights with people who would not have given steam a thought previously . We need more publicity like this!!

I just hope that Tornado gets treated fairly by the programme and that we don't get too many jibes about our anoraks [-X 8-[

Because they can, and they think it's clever to get it posted before the programme is aired.

Does it really matter? - everyone on here knew on the day.

Its only a bit of light entertainment - albeit the Beeb and CEX tried to treat it like some State Secret

at least it will be good to see clarkson drowned out by a real piece of engineering rather than the latest jap import that relies on computor imput, its a pity that she couldnt have run at line speed, now that would have kept him very quiet =P~
im looking forward to seeing an LNER design around the kent coast for the very first time its a pity that my local branch is no longer open, imagine the noise of her climbing up our little hill (1 in 30) it was bad enough when Oliver cromwell came down about 1000 people watched her, what would the numbers have been for that \:D/ i believe that she is taking water at folkestone west

Not you, Dan. Sorry if that was implied.

No, I'm having a go at the one who posted the video - their '15 minutes of fame', I guess...

Tornado now seen on the Minehead webcam as facing away from Minehead.
Presumably the loco and tender were split and turned? (weight considerations).

Yes this is correct there are pictures on the same site.

I hope this race will be released on a DVD of it's own or in the next Top Gear Challenges DVD.
