    Hello All.

Just bringing too everyone's attention that because of Past-Time Rail Ltd being unable to run "The Armada", hauled by 60163 TORNADO, on Sat.8th.August.2009, link: http://www.past-timerail.co.uk/index.php/THE-ARMADA this has been taken on by Pathfinder Tours and renamed "The TAMAR TORNADO" link: http://www.pathfindertours.co.uk/Steam. ... r080809TTT. Plenty of warning I know, but note revised times.

This is the second time this superb locomotive is scheduled to venture to the city of Plymouth the first being with "The Golden Hind" link: http://www.past-timerail.co.uk/index.ph ... olden-hind but as this is with Past-time Rail Ltd be prepared for changes :-k .

    Best regards SteamHawk216.

Wonder if Patfinders can arrange something involving Tornado on the 11th July to replace the Golden Hind? Or is it too near the date to organise a new tour?

As we've all probably lost money on the train on the 12th I wonder if this Pathfinder train will book up quite as quickly...

It's a great shame as steam in the SW looked in fine shape this summer until recent events, now it feels very uncertain. It would be nice if those involved could make some reassuring statements somewhere on this forum.

:-k I share your concerns Nigel and hope that the recent events don't spoil a promising programme,I think there were a lot of bookings for the 11th July train to Plymouth, most of our mates were booked on it but are uncertain what to do next,Pathfinder's phone lines are so busy its' almost impossible to get through, but I suppose that's not surprising in view of what's happened.
