There is a suggestion on another thread that it has not left the PDSR - the posts quote "politics" as the reason but as yet nothing concrete has come to light.

Thanks for that info. I drove back from Paignton to Birmingham this morning hoping to see 5029 on LE move, good job I popped home first and saved a journey.

    All,

Just to let you know that all is well with the engine. The move was cancelled by West Coast Railway late yesterday afternoon and the precise reason for this is unknown to the Support Group.

I would expect the powers that be will ensure 5029 is back at Tyseley sooner rather than later for the double header with E of ME on Saturday.
Well here's hoping, it will disappoint a lot of punters if the move from Paignton does not happen in the next couple of days.

Is there anything in this message that you find to be untrue Jane?
The news came from a member of Nunney's support team. <BJ>

It rather depends why the tour is cancelled. Cost will be allocated differently if it is cancelled due to lack of bookings by the Operator as opposed to by the TOC due to lack of resources for example.

Any suggestion yet of when the move will take place? I'm assuming that it's not running today, or someone would already have mentioned it.
