.... and here's yet another example of (arguably) inappropriate useage of headboards, as already so eminently discussed from a wide selection of viewpoints elsewhere (viewtopic.php?f=49&t=19311&start=30)
Nice headboard, no doubt about that ... but a crying shame that there's not a steamable BR-liveried Stanier pacific upon which to place it ... and nor does there seem likely to be one in the foreseeable future (viewtopic.php?f=28&t=16060&start=540)!!

FFS don't you ever give up, ](*,) ](*,) nobody there was complaining about the headboard including a photographer for one of the mags, so what does it matter to you as you probably were not there anyway. Why come on this thread further stirring things up when there is already one where you can continue to vent your ire.

Oh and by the way, Princess Elizabeth was in steam and I was assured that she was now in fine fettle and ready for next weekends run.

Anyway the rest of my record shots are here. Please do not look if headboards offend you because there are other irrelavent ones on display..

This one in particular will probably give you the screaming habdabs... http://galleryralph.fotopic.net/p57979140.html

We had a late phone call from the BBC, due to a short Bank Holiday news broadcast, and shooting 'so much good footage' they are featuring it in tomorrows (Tuesday) broadcast.

What on earth has this thread got to do with 'Mainline Activity & Tours'?, should this not be in Heritage Centres?...or somewhere else?......

If it's anything like BBC NW this morning it's a quick shot of 6201 and that's it! Harold.

Nice photos, now I understand why there are people having fits in another thread about 6100's very dodgy shade of Crimson Lake. As someone said, if you're going to have a ficticious livery, at least get the shade right.

My Skybox thingy will be watching North West Tonight for me.

Nice little item on NorthWest Tonight, although 6233 didn't get much of a look in. They said the three are there for the summer.
