Same here. I thoroughly enjoyed 52322's previous visit down south when it did a stint at the Spa Valley and by all accounts was very popular both with the footplate crews and the general public. I think it's a rather fine loco and also, speaking as a southerner, I do regard the locos of the northern companies like the L&YR and the NER as rather exotic beasts. No historical connections with Sussex whatsoever, but definitely a real draw as far as I am concerned.

Well, as the Bluebell sent Camelot to the GC, I just wonder weither 78018 or 78019 will be the piste du resistance.

78019 certainly looked the nuts when she visited back in 2010

No, they're out for maintenance, including new door locks, after having borne the brunt of the services as the second set through and since the pandemic.
Hopefully we'll have the 4-wheeler set back in service at last, alongside the SR non-corridor set, Maunsell set and Bulleid set.

Who knows, but Camelot's visit was the other half of 73156 coming to the Bluebell last autumn.

Yeah, it's not either of GC's Std 2's, Bluebell told me.
Although, since I am staying local [I.E. South East/Dorset], I do hope for some GWR traction.

If Trackside Magazine is correct, the third visitor is a little more Hunslet than a lot of people may have thought....

They've been running for the last 24 years... and should be again later this summer.
