    Fantastic image. Love the autumn colours of the WHL. Shame there isn’t a railtour back from Fort William at the end of the Jacobite season as there used to be.

    There is a stop in the Goods Loop. Railcam shows the motive power as 45407. No diesel assistance mentioned. Left Carnforth early.

    Water stop for 45407 is at Leeds. Light engine move so doesn't require a top up at Hellifield

    Kirkstall Loop I assume as she is only at Leeds 3 mins (albeit only at Kirkstall 9 so quite the splash and dash in either case)?

    I am going out to see it but the weather is a) very windy, b) getting darker by the minute, c) cold and d) looking very much like lots of rain. Several layers are being donned as we speak! I will be siting in the car until I know it is minutes away.

    No road access to Kirkstall loop in that direction so wouldn't have watered there. Last time I was on Leeds Station the water columns had been removed....
