    Does anyone have any updates, location etc of the above loco. Last I heard it was being cosmetically restored to be put on display at the old Vulcan loco works Newton le Willows.

    That photo, and presumably the accompanying text, is dated 2018. So I wouldn't take that as accurate now.
    Other sources confirm it as being at Chasewater in Jan 2022.

    Thank you both for your replies. It does appear the loco still exists, but there is an issue with where it is to be finally located. I dont know who owns the loco, one story I heard was the purchase and restoration was grant funded.
