Apparently the class 107 DMUs and support coaches are set to leave the Tanat Valley in the next few weeks, destination currently unknown. No mention of the box van that was part of the sale.

All will be replaced by... another Pacer.

Apparently the ex-Bletchley Tube wagon has moved to the Aln Valley Railway. Not sure what the plans for it there are.

To be fair - the final sentence of their report does state "The Pullman car has, however, left the Locomotive Storage site today (June 21), and returned to Swanage."
It was withdrawn from service due to COVID restrictions effectively prohibiting it's use.
Now those restrictions are no longer in force Car 14 has been returned to Swanage (as a return load) for some [hopefully] fairly minor works before re-entering passenger service.

Not a move, but a change of ownership: Pullman car Aquila, which has been at the Bluebell Railway since the middle of 2021, has been sold by it's former owner to the Bluebell Railway Trust.

Mk1 BFK 14021 moved from Hardingham station (adjacent to Mid Norfolk Railway) to Sheringham on the North Norfolk Railway on Wednesday 20th July. The coach will be restored as a Brake First Open with a kitchen in the luggage area to run in the NNR’s North Norfolkman dining train replacing the existing kitchen car housed in BG 81033. The passenger saloon will have 24 first class seats in what will be a unique vehicle as BR never built and Mk1 BFOs.

SR (SECR -design) Dance Hall Brake van No. S55490 has moved from the Bluebell to the KESR. (The vehicle was indentently owned, not a Bluebell vehicle).

The other Dance Hall, 11916, remains on the Bluebell and is currently on display at Kingscote.

I saw 0-6-0 GWR tank engine No 1501 (?) going North up past Nottingham the M1 on a low loader around 5pm today. Is it doing a Gala somewhere or a longer term hire?

Photos on Facebook show that the LNWR Semi-royal saloon No. 806 which for the last few years has been sat outside an Indian restaurant in Kent, has been removed by lorry. I don't know where it is going, but hopefully an operational future awaits somewhere.

I noticed the DMU 101 convtered Observation Saloon 6300, converted and used in the late 80s and early 90s for the Kyle of Lochalsh line in the highlands, was sat outside in the yard when passing through Crewe. Looking very much worse for wear but does anyone know if something is now happening to it?

I guess that this is the vehicle you are refering to, seen behind 37025 at Kyle in July 1992. I had no idea that it had survived 92-7-29 26 37025 Kyle copy.jpg

37025 looks absolutely brilliant in that livery. Let's all pile in on the SRPS until they get the grey paint out.
